About Me
I am a bookseller of more than 30 years and organiser of the Taunton Literary Festival. I am writing a series of mysteries about a bookseller turned accidental sleuth. Central to the story are the characters of Elliot the bookshop owner, his main employee, Esther, the subject of his unrequited love, the eccentric but loyal Aggie, his interfering mother Elizabeth and his history mad friend Cameron. They are written, I hope, with warmth and humour and contain many a literary allusion. If you would like to get in touch please contact me on enquiries@lionelwardauthor.com or fill out the contact form or, if you are in the area, visit our real bookshop in Somerset at Brendon Books, Bath, Place, Taunton TA1 4ER.
